Location. The Apple Hotel is located in Gothenburg, Sweden, two kilometres from the city's old town, and the New Alvsborg Fortress. Nils Eriksson tram stop is 500 metres from the hotel.
Hotel Features. This modern hotel features an outdoor pool, a gym, sauna, children's playroom, and complimentary secure parking. Other amenities include complimentary wireless Internet access, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby.

The Apple Hotel's contemporary restaurant is open for breakfast (complimentary), lunch and dinner. Meals can be eaten by the pool in the summer. The half board rate includes dinner.

Guestrooms. The 116 rooms extend to balconies, and have light decor with traditional Scandinavian wood furnishings. All rooms are equipped with cable television, DVD players, direct dial phones, and complimentary wireless Internet. Bathrooms include showers. Half board rates are available.

Expert Tip. Tradgardsforeningen gardens were designed by the Horticultural Society in 1842, and highlights include the rose gardens, which are home to 7,000 bushes with 2,600 different varieties represented, some very rare.

Distance to the Apple Hotel is 32 kilometres, approximately 30 minutes' drive.

Getting there. A shuttle bus runs between the airport and central Gothenburg, and a single ticket costs 80 SEK. During peak hours, buses run every 15 minutes. Taxis are available from outside the airport and the fare to the hotel is 365 SEK. Prices are sometimes fixed, so check before departing. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Walking is the best way to explore central Gothenburg. Trams and buses are available throughout the city, and integrated daily tickets can be used on trams, buses, and ferries.
