Beskrivning (engelska):

Location. The Grand Hotel Saltsjobaden, is on the coast in a suburb of Stockholm, Sweden. The hotel's seaside location is a contrast of seaside air and relaxing views of the harbor, sailboats and the water. The hotel is 12 kilometers from the city center and 60 kilometers from Stockholm Arlanda International Airport.

Hotel Features. A clean, white castle style façade of the Grand Hotel Saltsjobaden contrasts with the blue sky and water of the coast and sea. The hotel lobby is decorated with a marine theme that features dark blue carpet, white walls and red and white fabrics in the drapes and furniture upholstery. The hotel offers amenities that include coffee in the lobby and concierge services.

The French Dining Room offers food, wine and harbor views. The hotel's a la carte restaurant is Veranda and Grönskärsfoajen Bar is open nightly. Recreation around the hotel includes sailing, fishing tennis, golf and during the winter season, sailing on an ice yacht and ice skating. The hotel provides a sauna and steam bath. The 19 conference rooms in the hotel are named after Swedish lighthouses. The largest hall, Landsort, accommodates up to 275 people. Wireless Internet services is available in the hotel.

Guestrooms. The Grand Hotel Saltsjobaden's 105 guestrooms continue the clean lines of the lobby décor with stark white walls, pecan colored wooden floors, headboards and furniture. The rooms feature dark blue fabrics in the drapes and bedspreads with apple red accent chairs. The guestrooms all have private bathrooms. Most of the rooms offer views of the sea and a skyline of burnished copper spires, cupolas, and bell towers. Wireless Internet access is available in the guestrooms.

Expert Tip. The train ride from Stockholm to the hotel takes only 25 minutes, features spectacular scenery and stops outside the hotel.

heading towards Nynäshamn.
Leave the 222 and merge onto the 260.
Turn right onto 222.
Join the 228 at Junction 222 228 heading towards Fisksätra.
Once in Saltsjöbaden, follow signs towards the Grand Hotel.
