Location. The contemporary Best Western Time Hotel is located in a residential area of Stockholm, Sweden, two kilometres from the city centre and three kilometres from the Old Town.
Hotel Features. Opened in 2007, this seven storey hotel features contemporary architecture. The Best Western Time Hotel has a sauna and a lounge bar. Multilingual staff at the 24 hour front desk can offer currency exchange, concierge services and the use of a safe deposit box. There are complimentary newspapers in the lobby. Garage parking is available (surcharge).

A complimentary buffet breakfast is served each morning.

Business services and a meeting room are available. Complimentary wireless Internet access is provided throughout the hotel.

Guestrooms. The 144 guestrooms have light decor, brightly coloured fabrics and contemporary Scandinavian furnishings. All are equipped with satellite television, climate control, complimentary wireless Internet access, desks, and hair dryers. Cribs are available.

Expert Tip. The Swedes love eating herrings and you can sample them in up to 100 different ways, including salted, hot smoked, cold smoked, with mustard, with horseradish or with lingonberries.

From Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN):
Distance to Best Western Time Hotel is 39 kilometres, approximately 30 minutes' drive.

Getting there. The Arlanda Express train runs between the airport and Stockholm central station. The journey time is 20 minutes, and single tickets cost 200 SEK. From there, take the metro (Green Line) to Odenplan which is 500 metres from the hotel. Trains depart from the underground railway station. Flygbussarna airport coaches run between terminals 2, 4 and 5, and central Stockholm every 10 minutes at peak times, and stop at Haga Forum, 500 metres from the hotel. Buses to many other destinations are also available. Taxi rank officers are available to guide passengers to a variety of taxis, including environmentally friendly vehicles. Taxis to the hotel cost about 400 SEK. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Stockholm city centre is easy to explore on foot, and has many pedestrianised streets. The city is served by an extensive bus network and metro (T Banen) system, and trams run throughout parts of the city. Tickets are valid for 60 minutes and cost 30 SEK. Some islands in the city's archipelago are linked by boats in the summer months. Taxi fares can be very expensive.
